Start-of-care timing depends on your individual needs, receipt of the required referral documentation and provider orders, insurance verification or authorization requirements, and staff availability. - 2. Verify the patient's insurance eligibility and benefits.
- 3. Confirm that all required orders and clinical documentation have been received.
- 4. Obtain or confirm insurance authorization when required.
- 5. Review the patient's care and staffing needs.
